Lessons
With over 25 years teaching experience, I am an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher providing private lessons in piano, flute, harp and music theory from my home studio in the south-west Brisbane suburb of Anstead - neighbouring suburb to Bellbowrie, Moggill, Mt Crosby, Karana Downs, Pullenvale, Pinjarra Hills and Kenmore.
I start piano students from as young as 4 or 5, and flute and harp students from approximately age 8.
Students will learn the basic elements of music and piano technique, how to read music notation and will explore various musical styles from classical to popular, folk to jazz. I am constantly researching exciting new music to share with my students to keep everyone engaged and enjoying their lessons.
AMEB exam preparation available or simply learn for your own enjoyment and personal development.
Student concerts are held annually in a friendly environment. These are open to all students to perform, beginners to advanced, and provide a wonderful opportunity for students to experience performing in front of their peers, friends and relatives, and to be inspired by other students' work.
For those interested in learning the harp, harps are available for hire for a limited period from the Harp Society of Queensland.
